Full-Time, 4-day workweek, 325 miles per day, returns to Norfolk each day

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery within a production facility. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of equipment, machinery and fleet vehicles to ensure optimal operations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and plumbing.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activity and inventory of spare parts.
  • Assist in building and ground maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work and learn independently.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

This individual is directly responsible for daily delivery and pick up of textile rental products to our service centers located in Sioux Falls and Sioux City, returning to Norfolk at end of daily route.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
